I have an Assistant Teacher position that’s available. I’m looking for a conscientious English speaker of Taiwanese nationality (oral and written communication in Mandarin are essential) with an incredible aptitude for work and for learning, to join my team of educators. This position is all about supporting the Teaching Team, while building your own teaching skills and experience. This is for people with no or little teaching experience, as it includes a lot of training and guided hands-on experience.
The Big Brother Bear English School uses a career advancement system that rewards excellence and contribution. At any time, any member of the Teaching Team can ask to be evaluated for the next level in the school’s career progression. Below are the first 3 levels, their respective salaries, and the average time it takes to reach them.
- Assistant Teacher / NT$ 38,000 / N/A
- Teacher / NT$ 43,000 / 1 year
- Experienced Teacher / NT$ 48,000 / 15 months
